For the first time in years I’m actually experiencing spring time weather.
And let me tell y’all – it’s GLORIOUS.
More sunshine, rose bushes blooming, heavy overcoats and sweaters being switched for lighter wares.
Sweet, sweet relief…
Back in Chicago there was probably only a day, maybe two if you’re lucky, out of “Spring” that I could get away with wearing something like this.
Chicago is known for having only two types of weather – wicked hot or wicked cold.
Having lived there for almost 8 years, it’s been ages since I’ve experienced the gradual climb into warmer temps that London is providing.
Transitioning to spring, weather-wise, is also bringing about changes in other areas of life.
There’s the traditional cleansing of the home and wardrobe – two things we’re in desperate need of at the CeeTee household.
This time of year is also falling in line with my transition to more maternity wear (did you hear? I’m preggers!).
The bump is starting to make an appearance, and if you look close enough you may be able to catch a small glimpse 😉
In fact, half this look is actually maternity clothes from ASOS Maternity – which, side note, is AMAZING! I see lots of purchases from here in the future. If you’re also expecting I highly recommend checking them out for cute, trendy maternity clothes.
Lastly, in the spirit of the season, I also tend to do a sort of digital spring cleanse.
Case & point – you may (or may not) have noticed the new site design!
I was on Squarespace originally, which was all well and good, but WordPress is my one true love when it comes to blogs – and so here we are.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🙂
I’m happy to see things looking good and feeling good.
London just may make Spring my new favorite season…
How are you transitioning to the new season?
